As a result, this organisation is currently looking to further expand its procurement capability.

Job Description

As Purchasing Officer you will be involved in a wide range of procurement activities for IT equipment including creating purchase orders, processing invoices through to vendor and supplier management. You will also be responsible for ensuring that internal customer requirements are met through the provision of an efficient and cost-effective supply service.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be successful in this position you will need to have previous experience with SAP in a purchasing capacity. You will have prior experience in the conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders. The ability to develop sound working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will also be an important aspect of the role. Previous experience in the IT industry will be a distinct advantage.
