Materials Planner

This global market leader with over 80 years experience providing oilfield services to the Oil and Gas industry, require a switched-on Materials Planner to join their Supply Chain team in the stores/warehouse area.

Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for ordering and buying product requirements including spare parts and consumables for the maintenance area and will also be responsible for planning minimum / maximum stock levels and stock takes.

The main duties of this role include without being limited to:
* Inventory planning, movement and control
* Coordinating the demand forecasting process
* Ensuring systems and programs are sufficiently meeting inventory needs
* Developing strategies for improving efficiencies
* Coordinating with departments, internal customers and suppliers
* Implementing required documentation and labelling
* Preparing and provide monthly inventory reports

Sound computer knowledge with advanced Exel skills, strong analytical capabilities and customer focus are imperative to your success in this role.
