Due to recent expansion they are currently looking to appoint a Service Technician for their operations in the South Eastern Suburb.
The role will see you working in a workshop with a team of professionals ensuring that warranty claims are dealt with in a timely manner, handling incoming calls regarding service and technical requirements, assist customers with after sales technical support and other duties as directed.
The majority of the work will involve fault finding and diagnosis which will ensure that every situation is different and it will provide a variety of challenges throughout the day.
At times you will also be required to go out on site regarding service related issues.
The role is temporary to begin with the view of going permanent for the right candidate. Once you become permanent you will then be given opportunities to progress as a Field Service Technician. Please note that only applicants who are looking for longevity and the chance to secure themselves permanent work with a global giant will be considered.
You also must be available to start week beginning the 12th of Feb and meet with our client on Thursday the 9th of Feb.
To be eligible for this position you will need to be a trade qualified Fitter and Turner, Toolmaker or something similar. The ability to diagnose and conduct fault-finding will be imperative and any experience working with pumps and water systems will be highly regarded.
