We are searching for an experienced Laboratory or Facilties Manager to work at one of Australia's leading Universties as Laboratory Manager. In this role you will be required manage a number of the laboratories within the department, this includes the coordination of maintenance, training and readyness of a number of teaching & research laboratories within the department.

It is expected that the leading applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• Facilitating procurement of new equipment and consumables.
• Organise and coordinate minor works & logistics.
• Manage OH&S compliance, including dangerous goods, plant tagging & testing.
• Demonstrated experience in laboratory management.
• Sound understanding of OH&S legislation & Regualtions in relation to laboratory materials.

We expect that the leading candidates for this role will have a tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering, have good communication skills along with an ability to manage multiple tasks at any time.
