My client, a leading consultancy is currently experiencing a large amount of forward work in their Perth office, particularly within the mining and industrial sectors. They are looking to compliment their existing team with a key senior level hire that has the proven ability to continue this expansion

 

The team is currently made up of a range of water focused disciplines including hydrogeology but will also work with other teams across the environmental business. These positions will work closely with clients including on-site based assessment and advisory services, and hence previous on-site experience especially in regards to stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded.

 

Tasks will involve, but are not limited to, providing consultancy services for groundwater resources investigations and assessment, groundwater modelling and compliance reporting, providing hydrogeological input to environmental reports, contaminant transport studies, borefield design and feasibility studies for a range of projects.

 

A key requirement for this role will be business development. My client is seeking a senior level Hydrogeologist to lead the growth of the team, through their existing network and generating new networks and contacts driving forward fresh business

 

In order to be successful in these position candidates must hold experience in the above areas, ideally from either a resource background or a consultancy background in WA, and additionally hold experience in project management, providing technical advice to clients within the mining industry, and client management.

 

To be considered for the Principal role candidates will also require experience of reviewing site assessments, developing tenders and proposals, providing leadership to junior consultants and ideally have a comprehensive grounding in business development.
