An exceptional opportunity, through the Mission and Values of The Salvation Army, to provide efficient pick up and delivery services for the Family Store.
You will provide service to customers, maintain retail and rag sales, as well providing adequate pickup and delivery service for the Family Store, ensure the presentation of the store and maintain the cleanliness and service of the vehicle. Requirements - An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Appropriate and valid driver's licence
- Self motivated and a strong work ethic
- Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact and network positively with a variety of people
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Team player, flexible with a positive attitude
- Maintenance of driver's licence
- 2 years experience in retail and/or customer service
- 1 year experience in mentoring/training and managing staff or ability to demonstrate capability to undertake
- Minimum 1 year experience in driving and/or operating commercial vehicles
- Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry a desirable
