Our client is a rapidly expanding miner who is looking for a suitably experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to complement its existing team and ensure the continued growth and success of the mine. You will be working for a well recognised name in the WA mining industry and, as a result, will be able to work on well established and profitable projects in the Goldfields. Liaising with the relevant supervisors and engineers your duties will include: - Planning daily surveying tasks
- Maintaining of the Mine Plan
- Maintaining of databases
- Equipment maintenance
- Monitoring of production to ensure maximum efficiency and safe work practices
As the successful applicant you will possess a minimum of 2 years hands on experience in an underground mining environment and hold a WA Grade 1 Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate as well as applicable formal qualifications in Surveying. You will be someone who has strong communication skills and well developed problem solving abilities. You will have a strong commitment to safety and will have a good working knowledge of how an underground mine operates.
