Project / Mine Geologists

Do you have 12 months+ experience in an underground environment? Feeling a bit stale at your current company? No career path? No training or development?

If you answered yes then look no further! My client is a major global mining company with multiple operations throughout Australia and overseas. This successful company can give you a solid role with various perks including -

We are currently looking for both Mine & Project geologists for various underground operations is WA. All positions are on a FIFO 8/6 roster arrangement from Perth. Candidates will require at least 12 months experience in a hard rock underground operation, have relevant tertiary qualifications and excellent communication skills.

Mine Geologist duties will include -

  • Daily grade control production
  • Core Logging
  • Geological mapping and interpretation
  • A high level of interaction with supervisors, engineering department and contractors
  • Promotion of site safety policies and procedures

Project Geologist duties will include -

  • Monitor Production Geology activities within a project area
  • Interpret and develop Geology and mineralisation wireframes
  • Interpret and model areas for stope evaluation and design
  • Interpret and aid in resource evaluation of project areas
  • Produce Mine Instructions optimising development options
  • Ensure that plans and mine instructions are kept up to date
  • Develop and supervise drill programs
