This global base metals producer is currently entering an exciting phase of strategic growth in WA, with active exploration programs underway and plans to expand their current mining operations. To coincide with this growth plan, the company is seeking a suitably experienced Mine Geologist to join the team in a permanent position, working on an 8/6 roster on their underground and open cut mining operation. Duties will include: - Collating and reporting on geographical data
- Managing drill programs
- Geological mapping
- Maintaining safe practices on site
- Regular production reporting
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate: - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology
- Proven mine geology experience (Underground and open cut experience will be highly regarded)
- A commitment to workplace safety
- Strong communication and geology skills
An excellent salary package reflective of your experience is on offer ($110,000 - $130,000), as well as ongoing support from senior management and opportunities for further career advancement.
