You will be joining one of the worlds largest and most reputable lift companies; they have recently won awards for being employee conscious and providing an excellent work/life balance. They design, install and modernize lifts systems for both the residential and commercial sectors. Promoting from within is always their first preference so there are a lot of long term staff that have risen through the ranks. This role is perfect for a Lift technician who is interested in getting into a sales/business development position. Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling Lift Modernizations and Refurbishments to Building Owners, Building Managers, Body Corporates and Consultants. The position involves the following: Prospecting existing portfolio of clients Cold calling potential new clients Identifying and acting on tender opportunities Client visits and presentations Performing technical assessment of Lifts Solution selling modernisation and refurbishment of lifts (controllers, drives etc) Making the sale and handing over to Operations with a full brief From a technical perspective you will need to have relevant electrical trade qualifications and a comprehensive knowledge of lifts. From a sales perspective you will need to be highly self-motivated with excellent communication and organization skills. Personally you will need to be a positive and progressive team player who is interested in advancing their career. An attractive package of $100K - $115K is on offer to the right candidate.
