The Role
This opportunity will see you working with an exceptional mentor in a close knit team where the working environment is friendly and supportive. The Partner you will be working with is easy-going, down to earth and a highly regarded patent litigator who would serve as an outstanding mentor to the new recruit.
The work is high quality and will see you focus on complex patent litigation and (to a lesser extent) trademark claims. The matters are often high value running into millions of dollars and involve complex evidential and factual issues. If you are looking to act for sophisticated clients on complex patent litigation matters within the culture of a specialist firm then this is the role for you.
The Successful Applicant
Given the complex nature of the work a strong academic background is essential together with a sharp technical mind. You will need to have at least 3 years post qualification patent litigation experience, be able to hit the ground running and happy to roll up your sleeves and help where needed. Personality is key to succeeding in this firm and you will need to be flexible in your working approach and work well in a team environment. No big egos need apply.
