User Experience Architect TEAM LEAD (RARE)

My client is a full-service digital agencydelivering interactive solutions designed around the people who use them, and in alignment with each clients strategic objectives. Unlike the digital divisions of so many traditional agencies, interactive isnt a recent add-on at, its always been there core business
Create first-rate, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings.
Translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements.
 
Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes.
Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and style guides.
Work closely with product management and technical architects to ensure that UI designs align with the business strategy and technical solutions chosen for each product and service.
Follow department quality assurance guidelines and processes.

Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience working as senior designer with a track record of defining interaction design on large-scale web, mobile and/or desktop applications.
  • Experience leading teams in a digital agency
 
  • An impressive UI design portfolio showing your working experience.
 
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe suite of products (Photoshop, Fireworks, InDesign, Illustrator).
 
  • Experience prototyping rich interactions since the products we build are highly interactive.
 
  • Experience with designing interactive applications (not just pure content web sites).
 
  • Working knowledge of color theory, visual design and typography.
 
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, and Flex.
 
  • The ability to turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups quickly.
 
  • Experience conducting usability/contextual research and the ability to show how results from this research influenced the user interface.
 
  • Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
 
  • Understanding of technology and business trends, and evolution and convergence of Internet, mobile, location, and social digital media.
 
  • The ability to scope design initiatives accurately and prioritize work items appropriately.
 
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
