Is seeking to appoint an experienced Business Intelligence - Consultant to join their dynamic team in this permanent career role. On offer is a fabulous working environment with a focused team. You will be Reporting to the BI Team leader and must be able to demonstrate significant commercial experience in the field of Business Intelligence. Have experience in the successful implementation and management of self-service reporting and analysis solutions. A solid understanding of business, particularly Sales, Marketing and Finance and demonstrated experience with databases ERP and General Ledger Systems is highly desirable. Key Skills and Abilities Technical Ability to implement and maintain a BI environment and to manage users and security Ability to develop BI metadata layers (eg BusinessObjects Universes), and expertise in report development using Business Intelligence tools Strong understanding of relational database concepts Advanced SQL knowledge Understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) concepts Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook Interpersonal Strong collaboration and requirements gathering skills Priority management and the ability to manage projects to completion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Presentation and Training Skills Ability to liaise effectively and professionally at all levels Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner Business Analysis Gather and document user requirements Document BI and Datawarehouse solutions
