THE COMPANY A growing Coal producer is seeking to appoint a highly proactive Health, Safety, Training & Compliance Manager with significant leadership ability to manage the Health, Safety, Training & Compliance division of this profile Central Queensland Open Cut Coal operation.

THE ROLE Reporting to the General Manager you will manage, mentor and develop the HSTC Team whilst developing the overall HSTC capabilities for the operation. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of
Health, Safety, Training & Compliance strategies, policies and procedures for the entire mine site. Additionally you will identify hazards and complete risk assessments, carry out internal audits and manage operational budgets in relation to Health, Safety, Training and Compliance Department.
This opportunity will require you to relocate to a community focused town in regional Central Queensland and work a Monday to Friday Roster. The location is only a little over 2 hours drive away from The Great Barrier Reef and offers the opportunity for relaxing weekend escapes.
THE REQUIREMENTS Relevant Tertiary Qualifications -
A MUST Health, Safety, Training & Compliance management experience in the resources sector
A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience at managing a Mining Safety Division
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and abilities
SALARY PACKAGE Base $200,000 to $220,000
