We currently have a requirement for a FIFO Drug and Alcohol Nurse. This is a contract position on a 2/1 roster.
This position will suite a person with a medical background. Previous D&A testing and mine site experience would be a plus.
The minimum requirements are:
EN or RN Registration (Current)
Current nationally recognised Drug and Alcohol qualifications (HLTPAT304C)
WA Driving License
Police Clearance
Reporting to the Emergency Services Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to:
Conduct random testing under the corporate Drug & Alcohol Testing Program
Conduct random breath tests
Ensure consent for testing is maintained
Maintain confidentiality of the program
Maintain all data and records
Ensure the client meets all its legal obligations with respect to providing a safe working environment for all personnel
compile statistical data as required
In addition, you will need to demonstrate
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
Discretion and sensitivity
Effective time management
Ability to work well within a team environment
Strong computer and administration skills
FIFO from Perth only.
Candidates must be able to undertake a pre employment medical and complete a psychometric evaluation. This position will require you to undertake two days induction prior to mobilisation.
