Grader Driver Applications are invited for the position of Grader Driver with the Shire of Kulin. The successful applicant will be required to hold a MR licence. Duties involve the operation
of council's grader, both in construction and maintenance associated work. The successful applicant
will also be required to assist with other general road maintenance work, including the operation
of other plant and equipment, on a periodical basis.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the MEU Award, salary based on a level
4A (currently $874 pw plus other allowances). A compulsory 8 hours per fortnight
overtime is worked as a further incentive with other overtime available making
the position capable of earning in the vicinity of $60,000 pa. Other bonuses and incentives are available as per Council's Policy Manual. Council housing is available at a subsidised rental.
