<p>Our client is a leading financial services organisation and now has a requirement for an experienced Business Analyst with substantial experience in Financial Modelling to join their IT projects team.</p><p><b></b></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>In this role you will be responsible for working within a small team of Business Analysts on a variety of large technology and legislative change projects around financial products/services. </p><p /><ul><li>End to end business analysis work </li><li>Functional design and process mapping </li><li>Accountability for the successful delivery of projects through all phases </li><li>Production of documentation and taking business requirements </li><li>Project and scope definition </li><li>Financial Modelling (specifically with fees and commissions)</li><li>Commercial & Risk analysis within the project</li><li>Putting forward recommendations for Executive decision </li><li>Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in sales, margins & pricing.</li></ul><p /><p /><p /><p><b>To be successful in this role you will need:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Outstanding hands-on end to end Business Analysis skills with a proven record of delivering complex projects in a financial services environment </li><li>Strong understanding of Business Analysis methodologies </li><li>Proven ability to drive process change leading to cost savings and quality increases </li><li>Proven ability to think strategically </li><li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Tertiary qualified (in finance or accounting) </li><li>Relevant business experience including understanding of critical financial services sales and service processes, with a particular emphasis on customer relationship management solutions</li><li>Demonstrated ability to understand strategic direction and translate into business operations </li><li>Superior verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Facilitation skills to run workshops (desirable)</li><li>Understanding of relevant business practice and financial, technology and people implications.</li></ul><p />
