The St Vincent de Paul Society operates and manages a number of houses that provide shared accommodation for people at risk of homelessness with psychiatric disabilities. One of these premises is located at Coolbellup and the Society has a vacancy for a part-time House Coordinator working a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) initially starting at 3 hours per day and building up to 5 hours per day dependent upon the demands and number of occupants at this facility.
The duties include the responsibility of overall running of the shared house which embraces budgeting, general cleaning duties, shopping, meal preparation and engaging clients to participate in daily tasks that improve their independence. Occasionally the House Coordinator will assist residents with their daily living tasks to aid their mental health rehabilitation.
