Moreton Bay Regional Council covers the districts of Caboolture, Pine Rivers and Redcliffe. They have over 2,300 dedicated staff, focused and committed to ensuring Moreton Bay remains a thriving area.

The Customer Service Call Centre supports the community and visitors with a range of services through telephone contact to assist with information provision, problem solving and complaint resolution in an inbound environment.

We are seeking multiple full-time temporary staff members to join the highly dedicated customer service team based in Moreton Bay Regional Council's Customer Service Call Centre. The temporary assignment will be employed on full time hours from 13 February 2012 for a 12 month period (based on individual performance).  

Moreton Bay Regional Council offers the successful candidates 10 days comprehensive training on commencement, an ongoing supportive environment and the opportunity to be an integral link to the wider Moreton Bay community.

Your role will see you managing inbound calls in relation to a wide range of council matters ranging from waste, water, animal control, fines and essentially everything that Moreton Bay Regional Council administers and supports.

The successful candidates will have experience in high volume customer contact, with the demonstrated ability to deal with complex information. You will have excellent telephone communication skills, a passion for service and thrive in a busy results orientated environment. 

You will have intermediate PC skills (including a min typing speed of 35 wpm), a strong team focus, excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills and you like to work to goals and targets and take responsibility for your own work.
