Assitant Director - Accreditation
Our not-for-profit client is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team as the Assistant Director of Accreditation.
As the successful applicant you will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent administration skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated experience in accreditation, auditing and/or quality improvement procedures;
- High level client liaison skills with a proven ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders including industry professionals;
- An ability to deal with cultural differences in a sensitive manner; and
- High attention to detail.
In addition, a strong working knowledge of the health care sector and/or the tertiary education system would be advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vital not-for-profit organisation that is responsible for testing and assessing healthcare professionals to Australian Industry Standards.
As the successful applicant, you will be required to travel around Australia from time to time for periods of up to a week. In addition to this, your tasks will include:
- Manage and apply previously established procedures, standards and policies in the area of industry accreditation;
- Conduct audits of accrediting bodies;
- Assisting the Director of Accreditation where needed;
- External client liaison;
- Reporting;
- Assisting with the review and development of standards and procedures; and
- Other duties as required.
