About our Client My client is a leading Private Equity backed business, who are currently looking to hire a Group Financial Controller on a long-term contract basis. Located in the surrounding Parramatta area, this organisation is a leading player in their field who will be listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) by mid 2012. This will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to work for a market leader and take the lead in the ASX Listing process. Job Description The Group Financial Controller will provide technical leadership and guidance and support the CFO with the ASX Listing process. The key deliverables in this contract role will include: - Working closely with the CFO and lead the ASX Listing process which will be completed by Mid 2012
- Working closely with the CFO to centralise the shared services function
- Ensure all compliance with all ASX reporting requirements
- Lead compliance activities within the management team, and broader finance & operations teams including driving new initiatives
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong competency in these areas, be appropriately degree qualified and have CPA or CA qualifications. While prior industry experience is not essential, prior experience within a ASX Listed organisation is paramount to your success in the role. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated proficiency in ASX reporting and ideally will have also worked in a similar ASX listing process.
