Our Client
A leading Mining company with world-class projects throughout Australia and New Zealand requires a highly organised Accounts Payable person to join their fun and vibrant accounts department. Our client believes in empowering their people to explore new challenges and be the best at what they do.
The Role
This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and has a high volume of accounts payable processing (supplier statement reconciliations, voucher processing, distributing and logging) using SAP, however will be moving to an Oracle system in the near future. The ideal candidate must be able to liaise and maintain good communication with suppliers and staff, and have the ability to resolve queries efficiently and in line with organisational policy.
You will have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable position (degree not required)
- SAP experience desirable however, training will be provided
- Oracle experience desirable however, training will be provided
- Data Entry speed of over 9,000 KPM (this is a must)
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy
- Professional presentation & telephone manner
