Being a lateral thinker, your primary responsibility will be to provide tax planning and advice to internal business units, ensuring advice is consistent with relevant tax legislation, supports commercial decision making in respect to employee share schemes, divestments, business cases, projects and other transactions directed to ensure an optimal taxation outcome for the business. A natural problem solver, you will work on the development of tax risk management strategies, minimising tax audit exposures and tax audit penalties by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. With a degree in commerce or law, ideally CA/CPA qualified, you will have previous experience working in a big 4 or major law firm background. Extensive corporate tax knowledge and possessing an analytic/problem solving mind is essential. Superior verbal and written communication skills are vital for dealing with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority. The ability to work in a complex and fast changing environment is preferred.
